A fully licensed New York retailer
ZenZest holds two adult-use retail licenses issued by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management: license number OCM-RETL-24-000247 for our Queens store at 272-06 Union Turnpike, and OCM-RETL-24-000099 for our Staten Island store at 2343 Forest Avenue. Both licenses are verifiable in the OCM's public license database at cannabis.ny.gov.
What that license means in practice: every product on our menu was cultivated, manufactured, tested, and transported by other OCM-licensed operators — never sourced from the unregulated market. Every unit is tagged and tracked in the state's seed-to-sale system (BioTrack/Metrc) from cultivation to your delivery bag.
A carefully curated selection
We do not carry every brand available to New York retailers. Our buyers evaluate each brand's cultivation practices, potency consistency, packaging integrity, and Certificate of Analysis (COA) transparency before adding SKUs to the menu. Brands that miss lot-to-lot are dropped.

Prices posted on the menu are pre-tax. Taxes appear as a separate line at checkout. If a promotion or discount runs, the discount is visible before you check out — no coupon hunting, no "call to unlock" gimmicks.
Same-day delivery
Orders placed during open hours arrive same-day. Typical door-to-door window is 60-90 minutes from checkout, extending to 100 minutes for outlying ZIPs during peak periods. Both stores have a staffed phone during open hours. Queens: (718) 865-1464. Staten Island: (718) 889-0240. A human answers. If you need help with an order, a product question, or an accessibility accommodation, call the store — not a general 1-800 line.
Product education
We publish free guides on how cannabis is grown, how to read a Certificate of Analysis, how to choose flower, and how New York's regulated supply chain differs from unlicensed sellers. Budtenders in both stores are trained to walk first-time customers through their first purchase.
Safety at every step
- Sourcing: only OCM-licensed cultivators and processors.
- Testing: every batch tested for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, microbials and mycotoxins by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited lab. Read our lab testing page.
- Storage: climate-controlled shelving, opaque child-resistant packaging, tamper-evident seals.
- Delivery: 21+ ID handoff in person, unmarked vehicles, no drop-and-run.
Reliability
If we're open on the menu, we're delivering. If a driver is running late, you get a call and a text. If a product turns out to be defective, our returns policy covers you within NY OCM regulations. If a delivery can't be completed (no one home, ID doesn't match), the order returns to the store and we reschedule.
